Taught by Barre Above-certified, experienced instructors Shirley Alcaide or Christine Hipsky.
$15/person drop-in. $65 for 5-class pass. $120 for 10-class pass.
Interested to take your Latin dancing to the next level? Come out to our audition class for Dynamic Ballroom’s Co-Ed Latin Competition Formation team, directed by professional ballroom dance instructor, Christine Hipsky.
No partner needed.
New dancers are welcome to join – our audition class is open to the public, drop-in and see what it’s all about.
No ballroom experience is necessary, but previous dance training of any style is recommended.
Auditions for the new session of our Dynamic Ballroom Co-Ed Latin Competition Team will be held Sunday, November 5th at 5:00PM. Audition cost is $15/person. Includes dancers warm-up, technique drills, and learn a short cha cha/rumba sequence during the audition class.
Selected team dancers will meet on Sundays through May 2024. Make-up classes will be provided for weeks you need to miss. Team cost will include all Sunday rehearsals, extra rehearsals during the week as needed, entry to, and performance at our Spring Showcase event. Selected competitions and additional performances will be discussed and added as opportunities come up.
Team rehearsals will include technique work and drills on top of learning and perfecting the show choreography. Dance styles covered include Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Swing, Salsa, Jive, and more.
Walk-ins welcome, no registration needed for the audition class.
